The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (the Program)
was founded in 1974 by Alberta home builders to provide a package of
warranty protections and to encourage improved performance for the new home
building industry. Since its inception, the Program has been a leader and
innovator in the provision of warranty services to the home building
industry and was the first program of its kind to be introduced in Canada.

PHBIA first offered the Master
Home Builder Certification Program in 1987. The aim remains to improve
business management, financial knowledge, and construction theory and
leadership skills.

 The Canadian Home Builders’ Association - Edmonton Region (CHBA - Edmonton
Region) is an association of residential construction professionals who work
together to make their industry stronger.
Each member is encouraged to contribute energy and ideas that help to shape
the future of the home building industry. Established in 1954, CHBA -
Edmonton Region is a not-for-profit organization representing more than 400
member companies.
